Coordinates and supervises clinical and clerical staff, operations and functions including but not limited to scheduling, registration, bil! ling, collection, patient and employee satisfaction and purchasing. Serves as a liaison between the practice and administration.Ensure that patients are treated promptly and in a courteous manner. Answer patient questions and concerns and assist patients in resolution of problems.Works with Practice Administrator to develop and implement goals and objectives. Recommends and implements organizational policies and procedures. Updates staff on changes.Participates in hiring, training and supervising all employees. Responsible for work assignments and daily operations. Participates in the assessment of staffing needs. Maintains master work schedule.Responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of the practice.Insure accurate and timely processing of payroll and accounts payable. Maintains records of daily deposits. Monitors physician performance and productivity and provides necessary feedback to improve efficiencies.Works within parameters established for expense budget by ! overseeing purchasing.Evaluates staff performance and recommen! ds merit increases and promotions. Gives guidance and counsel and evaluates need for disciplinary action.
Requirements:
[Minimum education]
Associates degree in health or business administration, or equivalent work experience.

Minimum two years experience in a physician office.
[Desired work experience]
Prior supervisory nescessary.
[Required licenses/certifications]
[Required skills]
Excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, positive attitude, ability to multitask, organized, flexible. Computer knowledge.
