The Physical Therapy Assistant is responsible for performing Physical Therapy procedures, under the direct supe! rvision of a licensed Physical Therapist, as a part of a goal oriented Physical Therapy treatment program that focuses on restoring function and preventing further disability as a result of trauma, disease, amputation, congenital defects, surgery and other debilitating illnesses. Requirements:
[Minimum education]
Associate in Applied Science in Physical Therapy Assisting required.
[Minimum work experience]
At least one year of experience in a hospital setting preferred.
[Required licenses/certifications]
Current NJ PTA license required, CPR certification required.
[Required skills]
Excellent customer service skills; basic computer skills
