Description:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care to open heart surgery patients,while demonstrating knowledge and competency in his/her professional practice. S/he performs clinical assessments of patients, establishes, implements a plan of care and evaluates the outcome of that care.
Requirements:
[Minimum education]
Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Nursing or nursing diploma is required
[Desired education]
BSN preferred
[Minimum work experience]
One to two years surgical telemetry and/or intensive care experience required.
[Desired work experience]
! One year cardiac surgical ICU experience.
[Required l! icenses/certifications]
- Telemetry
- (ACLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- (RN) Registered Nurse
- (BLS) Basic Life Support
- IV Certification
- Preferred National Certification/CARE
Preferred : IABP, CRRT , Ventilator management
