Reporting directly to the facility’s Director of Administration and Medical Director, this nursing leadership posit! ion will oversee & ensure the quality of all clinical aspects of the facility to include safe patient care, QI and Infection Prevention.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. A ccountable and responsible for all clinical areas of the facility .
2. Coordinates care of patients to comply with all standards of practice .
3. Assures compliance with state licensure, Medicare and AAAHC requirements as well as all other state and federal regulations and/or guidelines .
4. Supervises, schedules, trains and develops staff .
5. Ensures the safety of all patients and personnel .
6. Oversees the management of materials and medical equipment .
7. Maintains highly effective communication with physicians, managers and staff to ensure positive teamwork.
8. Ensures adherence to the Policies and Procedures of the faci! lity .
9. Serves as a role model in professional behavior,! leadership skills, problem-solving ability and interpersonal skills.
10. Participates in committees and meetings as deemed necessary.
11. Maintains an awareness and understanding of current regulatory legislation as it impacts the facility, and institutes changes as warranted.
12. Coordinates activities with the Director of Administration, Medical Director, OR Manager, Clinical Coordinator and Operations Coordinator.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Current and valid RN license in the state of NJ .
2. Exceptional judgment, communication, leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills.
3. Education: BS in Nursing .
4. Experience: 3 years prior management experience in OR/PA CU in an ambulatory setting.
5 years clinical experience in OR/PACU.
5. Knowledge of Infection prevention, performance improvement, state licensure requirements, AAAHC certification standards.
6. Excellent communication & computer skills.
