Job Description & RequirementsMedical Laboratory Technician -! (Med Lab Tech - MLT)StartDate: 05/20/2013Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $31.00-36.00 * At least two years of hospital lab experience. Looking for an energetic individual to fit in the culture of our Regional campus. This is a fast paced lab that supports a level two trauma center.Working under the supervision of a medical technologist, medical laboratory technicians perform routine tests in various areas of clinical laboratory testing, including: Blood banking Chemistry Hematology Immunology Microbiology Medical laboratory technicians may also be responsible for preparing specimens and operating automated analyzers, or performing manual tests.Required QualificationsMT or MLT ASCP, AMT, NCA, or HEW Cert is requiredGeneralist 7p-7a Sat & Sun night.Preferred Qualifications7p-7a Sat & Sun night.About the FacilityThis health system is certified by The Joint Commission and is the only trauma center in its region.
