Job Description
The Director of Nursing:
Assesses the quality and quantity of nursing care provided in assigned areas
Takes responsibility for the coordination of the nursing care plan with the medical plan of care
Coordinates administrative activities with nursing activities
Assures quality patient care, efficient departmental operations, profitability and productivity of the department
Works on the marketing of services and staff and physician satisfaction
Reports to VP of Clinical Operations
Required Skills
RN
Supervisory experience in ASC or OR
Experience scrubbing and circulating in pediatric surgery
Desired Skills
BSN
