Description: Barnabas Health is in need of Laparoscopic Video Tech Operating Room Per Diem right now, this position will be placed in New Jersey. Detailed specification about this position opportunity please read the description below. Description:
Assumes responsibility for the daily activities in the OR/SDS for Endoscopic and Robotic Cases. Must be able to advise op! erating room team and the surgeon, regarding the structure, mechanics and function of the equipment. Must be able to retrieve any additional equipment that the Surgeon my need prior to, during and after the case. Has familiarity with Endoscopic and Robotic instrumentation. Knowledge of Video Equipment in the OR with the ability to troubleshoot. Responsibilities include assisting Service Leaders with count sheets and assembling new trays. Reviews preference cards and pick sheets; adjusts as needed in Perioperative Services software system. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Requires the ability to work under very stressful conditions. This includes the decontamination, assembly and sterilization of instrumentation. No BLS required.

Requirements:
Education/Training/Certification/Licensure: High School diploma or equivalent required. Current New Jersey Licensure or eligibility of Licensure. Graduate of ! a surgical technician program preferred. Certification and enr! ollment in a professional organization desired. One to three years hospital related experience required. BLS is required.
