We are currently searching for a Clinical Specialist for a contract assignment for Nestlé Healthcare Nutrition (HCN). This is a temporary position f! or approximately 1 year. It will be based in Florham Park, NJ. This assignment will provide clinical and scientific support and substantiation for HCN products and platforms, ensuring adequate scientific rationale, and documentation for benefits and claims.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Develop scientific rationale and documentation for benefits and claims for products and communications.
Translate scientific data to language supportive of product claims and benefits, defend against competitive threats & decrease risk of challenges.
Maximize strength of claim language within boundaries of scientific support and legal and regulatory conventions.
Maximize opportunities for clinical trial success by efficiently managing resources throughout clinical trial processes; analyze and translate the output data into messages that support product claims & benefits to meet business objectives.
Within the innovation and re! novation process, evaluate proposed claims and define requirem! ents for potential clinical trials in support of the proposed claims.
Conduct literature searches, stay abreast of newly published relevant literature, competitors messages, and clinical trials.gov postings for competitors & global trials.
Provide clinical/scientific support guidance to marketing projects and to Medical Affairs programs and communications, including platform projects, lectures, sales training support, and competitive defense strategies and issues management.
Serve as conduit to Global Applied Medical Nutrition Sciences for message alignment for existing and upcoming products.
Manage clinical trials in support of product claims, feature and benefits within time and resource constraints.
Provide scientific and clinical support for the product ingredients/nutrients.
Manage product disposition issues, including product release requests and formulation decisions, leveraging scientific & clinical rationales.
Manage exceptional release ! requests.
Respond to requests from the field, aligning with business priorities.
Contract position. 40 hours/week
Master’s degree in nutrition or related field.
5+ years of clinical nutrition experience, preferably in pediatric &/or adult settings.
Clinical trial development and management experience.
Nutritional or clinical management experience in a business setting desirable
