The general surgeon is responsible for the provision of both out-patient and in-patient general surgery services to patients under their care in the office-based setting, within Newton Medical Center, its affiliates or as other! wise designated. The general surgery physician also responds toother emergency situations (within his or her areas of care), and assists in any way possible to improve the quality of care provided. Required Education: Medical Degree or Doctor of Osteopathic MedicineBoard Certified in General Surgery or if Board Eligible, completes Board Certification within two years of completion of training.Current New Jersey and Pennsylvania Medical Doctor License, CDS Certificate, and DEA Certificate
