Position Summary: The Witten Lab at Princeton University is looking for a highly-motivated individual to work as a full-time Research Specialist within a highly creative and fast paced neurobiology research team. This is a one year term position with the possibility of renewal. The laboratory uses a wide range of techniques including electrophysiological, optical, genetic, and computational approaches to study neural circuits underlying learning and working memory. The position offers an excellent opportunity to directly participate in an exciting and fast-paced field of research.
The individual should have at least 3 years of previous laboratory experience, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a strong desire to learn.
Must have experience with at least one approach used in the laboratory (but more than on! e is a plus): computer programming, electrophysiology, imaging! , rodent surgery, rodent behavior, immunohistochemistry.

Requirements: A bachelor's degree in engineering, neurobiology, molecular/cellular biology, or a related field. Computer skills, previous laboratory experience, scientific curiosity, strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills are required.
