6 p.m. - 2:30 a.m.

We are the premier provider ! of comprehensive and dynamic pathology services, tailored to the outpatient needs of urologists, hematologists, oncologists, and gastroenterology surgeon professionals who demand accuracy and efficiency. We seeking an experienced Medical Transcriptionist to join our team of outstanding employees at our laboratory in Union, NJ.
The ideal candidate should possess at least two years Transcription experience in the medical field and have knowledge of anatomical pathology medical terminology.
Responsibilities include:
Process surgical pathology reports and transcribe gross descriptions
Accurately transcribe anatomic pathology reports using a dictation system.
Performs general clerical work to relieve medical, professional, and technical personnel on minor administrative and business details.
Answers telephones
Performs additional tasks as requested by the Transcription Manager
Must be able to type at a min! imum of 60/WPM with accuracy.
Must be extremely detai! l oriented.
Requires 2 years experience in the medical field with knowledge of anatomical pathology terminology required. Expereince with Hematolgy and Oncology terminology a PLUS.
Must be comfortable being exposed to diverse accents and handwriting of clients and Pathologists.
Excellent communication skills are required as well as a team player with a great level of professionalism and enthusiam for the work that we do.
Must be able to multi task and maintain composure with ever changing and conflicting priorities.
Minimum of a High School Diploma required.
