Emergency Medicine Physician

Description: St. Mary's Hospital is currently seeking to employ Emergency Medicine Physician right now, this position will be placed in New Jersey. For detail informations about this position opportunity kindly read the description below. Opportunity for a Physician to join our ED team full-time at St. Mary's Hospital in Passaic, New Jersey. This 34,000-volume ED has 26 beds including a 5-bed Fast Track and provides 41 hours/day of physician coverage (including pediatrics) with 17 hours/day of ACP coverage. Shifts are 10 and 12 hours long.
Qualifications for this position include board certified or prepared in Emergency Medicine. Will consider board certified in a primary care specialty with EM boards via AAPS. The ED uses a paper T system for charting, and ! all nurses are certified and experienced ED nurses. The ED has! a good rapport with the surrounding community EMS programs.
We have a very forward-thinking medical director, and the ED is seeing improved throughput times and continuously improving patient satisfaction scores. St. Mary's is home to the Eastern Heart Institute, a comprehensive cardiac services program providing invasive as well as non-invasive procedures and cardiovascular surgery. St.
Mary's also boasts one of its newest and most comprehensive cancer centers in the state. Community Description: The city of Passaic is located in the southeastern portion of Passaic County, New Jersey. The county is situated in the upper northeastern portion of New Jersey and is a wonderfully diverse area that ranges from city and suburban landscapes offering a wide range of historical, entertainment, dining, and shopping venues to the rural tranquility and beautiful vistas of the northernmost portion of the county. The city of Passaic is located approximately 12 miles fr! om the Lincoln Tunnel, Holland Tunnel, and George Washington Bridge.
