The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that the project/maintenance/operations work throughout the Medical Center and affiliates is completed on time and within the budget. Oversees that daily work requests in the Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC fields for the entire facility are completed in a timely manner. Communication in the design phase of a project includes interaction with Architects, Engineers and Hospital Staff. Ability to follow blueprints and interpret what has been designed. Has a work! ing knowledge of all codes related to Construction and Life Sa! fety. Communicates effectively with the customer and all levels of staff. Other tasks/assignments as required. Job description duties may change as required to meet goals and objectives of department as they are revised. Files project/repair work as required with local AHJ.
Requirements:
A high school diploma and a minimum of five years in the construction field is considered necessary. NJ State Electrical License and a NJ Electrical Permit with exposure to other engineering trades is required. Must have a valid NJ Driver’s License.
