Gotham City Orthopedics, LLC is a rapidly growing state-of-the art Orthopedics, Sports Medicine & Physical Therapy practice located in Clifton, New Jersey. The practice currently has 6 physicians and can grow up to 10 in 2014.
Orthopedic Coder/ Surgical Collector Job Description and Requirements:
Gotham City Orthopedics, LLC seeks an experienced Medical Biller / Coder, specifically an Orthopedic Coder/ Surgical Collector, who will! be responsible for all billing functions related to Surgery. !
Individual must have a minimum of 5 years billing management experience, preferably orthopedics and physical therapy. Candidate must be familiar with in-network and out-of network billing as well as NJ no-fault and the arbitration process. Responsible for obtaining all hospital encounters including; surgeries, ER consults and inpatient consults from Orthopedic Surgeons. Experience with EMR/practice management systems to include in month-end reporting and tracking collections. AAPC preferred, college degree and/or equivalent years of experience.
