The pharmacy technician assists in the provision of pharmaceutical services under the direct supervision of the registered pharmacist by performing the technical, clerical and manipulative tasks involved in dispensing, preparing, and distributing all medications and pharmaceutical products for all patient age groups (includes geriatrics, adult, adolescent, pediatric and neonatal). Work and/or performance shall conform to written established hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent. Associ! ates degree preferred. Experience: 1 year of Pharmacy experien! ce preferred. Registration in New Jersey within 180 days of employment. PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) certification within 6 months of employment.
