Responsibilities:
- Direct and control traffic at major events in the Las Vegas area
- Set up traffic cones, signs, and barricades to guide vehicles and pedestrians
- Communicate with drivers and pedestrians to ensure safety and efficient traffic flow
- Monitor traffic conditions and adjust traffic control measures as necessary
- Report any incidents or issues to supervisors or law enforcement as required
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while on the job
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with drivers, pedestrians, and coworkers
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate placement of traffic control devices
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and work in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
- Experience with utility locating and/or operating equipment such as Caterpillar machines is a plus

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
