The occupational therapist is responsible for the evaluation, planning, and implementation of a goal oriented occupational therapy treatment program. The program focuses on restoring function, activities of daily living, fine motor skills/coordination, cognitive functioning and preventing further disability as a result of trauma, disease, amputation, congenital defects, surgery and other debilitation illnesses. S/he provides an optimum environment for functional gaol achievement and utilizes interdisciplianry collaboration and available rsources to provide care.
Requirements:
[Minimum education]
Education: Graduate from an accredited OT program required.

[Minimum work experience]
One or more years of outpatient occupational therapy preferred. Certified hand therapist certification preferred.

NJ Occupational Therapy License
