The Physical Therapy Assistant is responsible for performing Physical Therapy procedures, under the direct supervi! sion of a licensed Physical Therapist, as a part of a goal oriented Physical Therapy treatment program that focuses on restoring function and preventing further disability as a result of trauma, disease, amputation, congenital defects, surgery and other debilitating illnesses. S/he provides an optimum environment for functional goal achievement and utilizes interdisciplinary collaboration and available resources to provide care.

One year outpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.
Schedule:
Monday and Wednesday 8-530p
Tuesday 1030-8 p
Thursday 12- 4 p
Friday 7-430 p

Requirements:
[Minimum education]
Associate in Applied Science in Physical Therapy Assistant required. Continuing education in Orthopedics preferred.
[Minimum work experience]
! Outpatient experience preferred but a new graduate with strong! clinical rotation experience will be considered.
[Required licenses/certifications]
New Jersey Physical Therapy Assistant license and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
