I am working with a client in Virginia that has a Locum Tenens, Surgery need starting ASAP-August, possibly longer. This client will consider a General Surgeon, Vascular Surgeon or Cardio-Thoracic Surgeon. They are looking for a physician to act as a 1 st assist on cases, the selected candidate will not be performing surgery during this assignment. They currently have 5 surgeons doing adult cardiac cases with EVH and open Radial Artery needs, thoracic cases and major and minor vascular cases. The pay for this assignment is $1200/8-hour day; $180/hour overtime and $200/day for weekday call plus overtime.
