With headquarters in New Jersey and other offices throughtout the United States, as well as ! a Global Reach in Latin America, Asia and Europe, my Client is constantly creating new devices and biological substances that help Doctors and Surgeons to save lives. My Client is seeking a Supply Chain Manager for its New Jersey Headquarters. In this role, you would manage all the parts of the Procurement Process, such as Production Planning, Scheduling, Inventory Management, Shipping and Receiving Activities.
You would manage a Group of Purchasing Staff including Planners and Shipping and Receiving Personnel. In addition this role would be responsible for: - Executing plans to make sure that delivery, cost, inventory and compliance commitments are met - Constantly looking to improve the performance of the Company's Suppliers - Providing leadership in the development of Sourcing Strategies and leading negotiations with Suppliers for long-term agreements - Monitor Supplier Quality and Delivery; Complete CAPA, Non Conformances and SCARS - Maintain the accuracy of al! l Bills of Materials and Routers into the ERP System and makin! g changes if needed - Develop an annual budget and monitor that budget to make sure that it is adhered to - Maintain your status as the Subject Matter Expert for the ERP implementation and all ERP Planning/Purchasing issues including the ability to generate Discoverer Query Reports - Handle the annual physical inventory - Work with the Operations and the Quality Control Departments to ensure conformance and compliance to production schedules - Work with the Product Development and Product Transfer Teams - Handle the Production Master Scheduling for the Plant - Interview, hire and train Employees and handle Employee reviews, rewards, discipline, etc Experience •Bachelor's Degree and CPM Certification Oracle Experience is a must •Minimum of Ten Years of Experience from the Medical Device or Biotechnology Industries •Excellent Supplier Negotiation Skills •Experience with Master Scheduling •Outstanding interpersonal skills, written and verbal skills and a "drive" to g! row the organization along with a very flexible and ethical demeanor and an excitement about oneself along with the ability to make things happen •Very strong Computer Skills including MS Office and an ERP/MRP System; Oracle highly preferred •The ability to manage more than one product line •Very strong leadership skills; A lot of integrity with the ability to manage by example •Demonstrated knowledge of FDA Regulations, ISO 134825: 2003; GMP 820; 21 CFR 820; ISO 9001 and other National and International Regulations and Standards What you Receive This is one of the best mid sized (and growing) companies to work for in New Jersey for a number of reasons.
