Job Description
As the Clinical Director of Hospital Medicine, you will be:
Developing a vision and execute plans for how a successful hospitalist program should be structured to meet both organizational and group-specific goals
Leading group to align the hospitalist program with hospital administration
Developing and uphold performance expectations - participate in physician evaluations
Monitoring quality, clinical best practices and administrative processes
Establishing and conducting patient assessment activities including Utilization Review and Quality Assurance
Reviewing patient records for documenta! tion, care & treatment plans, timely record completion, correc! t coding, etc
Motivating the group to accomplish organizational goals, i.e., LOS, early admissions, etc.
Managing scheduling of current attendings as well as locums coverage
Participating in recruitment, orientation, and retention activities to facilitate the growth of the hospitalist program
Required Skills
MD, DO
Board eligible/certified
Strong leadership skills
