Full R! equirement :Director of Nursing Perioperative Services:
Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer this position is responsible for all surgical service lines for two hospitals and a free standing ambulatory surgery building.
Provides supervision, direction, and leadership in perioperative nursing by supporting the mission of UHS Hospitals through the establishment of effective systems which ensure the optimal level of nursing care delivered to patients in compliance with all applicable regulations and organizational policies. In collaboration with Nurse Managers and Physician Leaders, performs budgeting, scheduling, educating, program development, and strategic planning for areas of responsibility, while continually monitoring quality of nursing services.
Minimum requirements include a Master degree in Nursing or related field of study required and at least five years Perioperative clinical experience. Three to five years of clinical management! experience preferred along with surgical experience relative ! to neorosurgery, trauma, and cardiac care.
