Requisition ID: 23910BR Job Title: VP, Global Knee Marketing Division: Reconstructive Business Unit: Knees Business Function: Marketing Business Sub Function: Brand/Product Ma! rketing Country: United States State: NJ City: Mahwah Shift: 1st Job Description: Provide overall direction and leadership to Knee Division’s Marketing organization. Lead a significant organization in terms of size, staff, complexity and/or strategic importance to the business. Drive multiple KNEE teams who, in turn, drive product and/or marketing strategies and programs consistent with overall Knee business objectives. Deliverables are exclusively in the KNEE business and product segment, utilizing both traditional and innovative marketing/product approaches, tools, and methodologies.
- Develop product and/or marketing strategies within the Knee product lines and marketing function.
- Develop and execute portfolio product/marketing strategies to achieve stated revenue for the Division, profitability and market share objectives.
- Work with Sales Leadership to identify trends in KNEE product sales and demand; work with internal Leadership to ! ensure demands for product are met and to identify new ways to! improve processes.
- Work with Business Intelligence function to evaluate trends in Knee segment or new (but related) markets to determine/pursue segment penetration opportunities and strategies.
- Work with outside agencies/organizations to benchmark marketing program offerings and bring best demonstrated practices in-house.
- Establish consistent positioning image throughout product lines, promotional materials and events.
- Drive Knee product/marketing messages through all communication channels; partner with internal and external communication resources and functions.
- Collaborate with field sales management, consulting surgeons, and patients to validate, deliver, and evaluate marketing strategies and programs.
- Develop and manage performance of staff, either directly or through direct reports; manage other Product/Marketing staff as required and assigned.
- 10+ years experience in a classical marketing function and di! rect product management
- 10+ years demonstrated success in leading and managing employees
- Prefer experience in healthcare products or medical devices with specific emphasis on Knee Market
- Demonstrated interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional and team-oriented environment
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills (both in groups and one-on-on interaction)
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to deliver expected results on multiple, complex projects
