LifeCell's patented tissue matrix was developed in 1994 as a graft for burn patients. Since then, AlloDerm's versatility has led to its use in many other reconstructive applications, allowing surgeons to restore tissue damaged through injury or disease - using the regenerative power of the patients' own tissues.

Position Summary: LifeCell is seeking a Senior Strategic Marketing Manager to work in a dynamic, innovative, entrepreneurial spirited environment where together we are transforming surgery. This position will function as commercial lead on product development teams (! new products, new markets, new applications) as well as create! Commercial assessments and Business Cases for Go/ No Go decisions for upstream concepts. Responsibilities include: gathering Voice of Customer feedback to provide direction to development teams, developing business cases in support of project go/ no go decision making, and participating as Commercial Team lead on the major product development teams. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible to for creating and executing launch plans for new products. This will included leading activities such as pricing, forecasting, branding, product positioning, collateral creation and packaging.

Direct/ Conduct market research to assess market opportunity.

Serve as Marketing Lead on cross functional product development and commercialization project teams. Responsibilities include:

  • Gathering and assimilating customer input and unmet needs through summits (planning and execution) and other customer events
  • Leading branding, positioning, na! ming and messaging of new products
  • Leads Business case development for concepts and new products
  • Marketing Functional strategy development and execution
  • Product Launch plan development and execution
  • Working with Marketing Communications in the development of launch programs to drive awareness and penetration.
  • Assisting in the development and execution of pricing, reimbursement and contracting strategies.
  • Identifying and developing required launch materials and sales tools.
  • Developing and delivering the necessary sales training for product launches
  • Forecasting new products (units and revenue)
  • Pricing strategy development
Labelling creation

Build and develop strong key customer/thought leader relationships

Provide input to product portfolio planning and strategic planning processes

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: BS or BA in Business Mark! eting or Science. MBA is strongly preferred. Minimum 3 years in marketi! ng in major medical device or pharmaceutical company. Minimum of 1-3 years of upstream marketing in medical device and 3-5 years total upsream and downstream experience. Proven ability to define customer requirements. Experience with launching new products. Strong business acumen, analytical skills, financial understanding and results orientation. Strong process orientation and a solid understanding of product development process. Strong communication, presentation and influence skills.
