Responsibilities include:
Working collaboratively to assess and manage the cardiovascular surgical patient population throughout the continuum of care
Communicating effectively with staff
Physicians and the multidisciplinary team in both written and oral forms and providing patient and family education regarding treatment plan
Self-management and health resources
Required Skills
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
Current NJ PA license
NCCPA certification
BLS and ACLS
DEA registration and CDS certification
Previous cardiovascular surgical first assist experience
