What You'll Do
- Understand seller verification/KYC requirements in the US and execute seller due diligence in accordance with those requirements
- Work with moderation to deliver SOPs, ensure accuracy, and drive improvements
- Own recommendations and implementation of outside 3rd party agencies to support the seller verification process
- Lead cross-functional education on the topic of seller verification and onboarding
- Advise, guide, and direct regional business and security leaders and stakeholders on outcome of investigation to drive strategy and execution of resolution or improvement plans.
- Support deep dives and investigations as needed including reporting to the executive level on outcomes
- Collaborate and partner with peer Seller Verification Specialists across the regions to deliver consistent and effective investigative standards globally.
- Create and distribute reporting related to seller verification accuracy
- Willingness to become an expert in TikTok infrastructure, policies, products, tools, systems, and data.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, protocols, and policies at scale to reduce risk.
Who We're Looking For
- 3+ years of professional experience in e-commerce, specifically with KYC/due diligence processes, consumer product safety, compliance or regulatory research experience
- Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with proven ability to communicate clearly at all leadership levels.
- Ownership with exceptional bias for action; self-starter with the ability to work well under pressure to solve problems and meet objectives.
- Comfortable managing through ambiguity, making thoughtful and sound judgments during stressful environments.

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $71777 - $155555 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
