Medical Devices & Diagnostics G! lobal Services, LLC. a member of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Lean Business Process Manager can be located in Raritan, NJ preferred or one of the manufacturing site locations supported by this this cluster: Jacksonville, Florida, Limerick, Ireland and/or Iverness, Scotland. The Lean Business Process Manager will support the all manufacturing sites within the cluster.
Medical Devices & Diagnostics Global Services, LLC., represents more than 60 manufacturing sites and 26,000 employees who plan, source, manufacture and deliver high-quality and cost-effective medical products to our customers around the globe each day. Work of the Medical Devices & Diagnostics Supply Chain (MD&D SC) supports a multitude of product platforms, new products and delivery systems that are used in a wide range of procedures throughout the healthcare industry, including interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, minimally invasive surgery, hospital sterili! zation, clinical laboratory testing, diabetes management, join! t replacement surgery and vision care.
The Lean Business Process Manager is the SME and is responsible for leading and deploying key strategic business process improvement for the cluster. He/She Leads, analyzes, designs, and improves business processes by enlisting and influencing cross-functional and cross-site teams, delivering tangible business results through the application Lean principles, methodologies and tools. Utilizing their business, leadership and technical skills, the Process SME will both execute projects and mentor and coach team members and target groups within the cluster.
Responsible for delivering process performance improvements around Quality, Product Supply, and Cost. Lead global process improvement initiatives/projects including managing resource requirements, timeline and change management tools. Collaborate and partner with stakeholders across multiple functions and sites. Lead simplification of support areas work flows for great! er efficiency and affectivity.
Help grow lean/analytical skills in the support functions.
Follows and observes all regulatory requirements (GMP’s, ISO, FDA, internal policies) applicable to area of responsibility.
Comply with J&J Safety Requirement and safe working conditions and practices in the department. Other responsibilities may be assigned & not all responsibilities listed may be assigned.
Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelors degree is required in an Engineering or Science discipline. An advanced degree, such an MS or an MBA is preferred.
Lean certification as Black Belt is required and Master Black Belt preferred. Position must reside in one of the cluster’s mfg plants. This position will require up to 30% domestic and international travel. Must have a minimum of 6 years overall business experience. Certified Black Belt preferred. Candidate must be able to document successful prior leadership, training del! ivery, deployment of Lean Principles and re-engineered manufacturing an! d transactional processes. Experience should include six sigma and Lean methodologies, Project Management and strong cross-functional business acumen. Able to deliver oral and written communications around process improvement projects that has clarity and impact. Organized, analytical approach to problem solving. Some familiarity with FDA, GMP and ISO requirements. Strong computer skills â€" Microsoft Office, Visio. Working knowledge and demonstrated ability in project management. Ability to audit production areas identifies non-compliance to requirements, and develop/oversee action plans for corrective action. In depth knowledge of such matters such as labor relations, manufacturing methods, production planning and assembly. In-depth understanding of accounting (standard cost), QSR/ISO requirements, trend analysis and failure rate analysis. In depth understanding of production and quality control techniques such as CFM, JIT, TQM, CIM, etc. Must understand and have ability ! to analyze market requirements and opportunities for product lines. Ability To Understand And Translate Customer Needs (Explicit And Implied);Customer Facing Metric Development. Comprehensive Business Acumen on end-to-end Supply Chain Implement process improvements using Lean Manufacturing and Six-Sigma principles/tools within the Cluster.
