R&D MANAGER - CLINICIAN

The role is key to our R&D organization to support the development of new product launches, product upgrades and cost savings initiatives. You will be responsible for s! upporting the R&D Director and team in bringing new products to the Healthcare market. You will have a wide range of responsibilities as a member of the Pharma team.
You are an energetic scientist, with a strong track record of both working as a nurse in an OR setting and developing new Pharma products. You are able to use your technical knowledge to drive the development and launch of new products, with new technologies, claims and positioning.
You are able to build strong relationships with key internal and external people â€" particularly Key Opinion Leaders in Healthcare to ensure new product development is in line with user’s expectations and requirements. In addition you enjoy coaching and directing the work of junior team members.
Job Responsibilities :
- Delivering knowledge and training of skin antisepsis usage within the Healthcare environment to the R&D team.
- Collecting user data and Key Opinion Leader input! and translating into direction for the development team !
- Facilitating introduction between R&D and Healthcare professionals
- Supports the development and launch of multiple new products, collaborating with R&D team, Regulatory Affairs and Marketing
- Keeps up to date on guidelines and recommendations across Healthcare, including from the CDC
- Able to lead multiple cross-functional teams, also representing R&D
- Supports the testing of new products, both at the bench and in the field. Prepares technical reports and presentations for internal meetings
- Develops relevant new claims, and ensures they meet the business needs in the marketplace
- Ensures key documentation and reports are completed prior to launch
- Uses literature reviews and searches to propose and execute against new ideas which are winning in the marketplace
- Has Medical degree, with experience including use of skin antisepsis for surgery preparations
- ! Strong track record and knowledge of current Infection Prevention practices
- Demonstrated technical ability in the field, with 3+ years’ experience of bringing new products to market
- Experienced project manager, leading multiple teams in parallel
- Intellectually curious and constantly seeks to improve processes
- Conversant with different consumer insight methodologies
