Description: Millburn Veterinary Hospital is looking of Veterinary Technician right now, this position will be placed in New Jersey. More details about this position opportunity please read the description below. Full time experienced and compassionate veterinary technician needed for our progressive three doctor hospital. Our staff offers the best in medical and surgical care using the latest equipment. We! perform laser surgery; have in-house laboratory, ultrasound, and digital x-ray and use a fully computerized paperless medical record system. Our technicians assist the staff doctors in providing medical, anesthesia and surgical support.
In addition, they work directly with patients and their owners to perform dental treatments, preventive medical care, in hospital care and client education. Candidates must have experience in the following areas: venipuncture and catheter placement, anesthesia induction, maintaining and monitoring of anesthetized patients, surgical assistance, dental prophylaxis and radiology.
