Required skills and job limitations are defined in departmental policy and procedure manual and pre-established standards of care. Prepare! s patients for necessary tests and conducts test such as electrocardiograms, holter monitoring, obtain specimens and venipunctures. Medical Assistant will obtain information from patients and their family members, which are required for their
procedures. Prepares, edits, and processes related reports for physician’s interpretation and appropriate distribution. Uses and understanding of the principles of growth and development to asses each patient’s age specific needs and provides age specific treatment and care.

Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent. Certified Medical Assistant preferred. Ability to type medical documents accurately and efficiently. BLS Healthcare Provider Certification required.
