This individual will be scheduling procedures for multiple doctors and surgeons.
They will take ins./demo. Information from doctors/surgeons offices and input it in to their system.
They use Vis! ion software.
This person will follow up on outstanding lab reports and documentation needed prior to day of surgery.
This person will work hand in hand w/ the ASC's material manager, certain procedures require special medical equipment, the materials mgr. has to coordinate w/ hospitals or medical equipment company's to make sure it's on site. Manage dozens of surgeons schedules, while also dealing w/ surgeon's own admin. staff.
Procedures run currently on site: Gastro., Endo., Urology, Pain/Anesthesia, Opthamology and hand.

Job Requirements:
Minimum two years ASC surgical scheduling experience in a multi-specialty environment *
Strong inter-office communication skills *
Thick skin (will be working w/ numerous nurses and surgeons (God's Greatest Gifts to Medicine), even if the doctor is the one that made the mistake this candidate needs to take the attitude and keep her head down
Strong o! rganization skills, there will be dozens of moving parts and h! e/she needs to be organized and on top of it
