The Advertising and Promotion Sr. Manager reviews, approves, and monitors product advertising and promotional labeling pieces for compliance with regulatory agencies requirements.

• Represents Regulatory Affairs as an active participant on the promotional review teams(s) facilitating cross-functional review of promotional and marketing activities.
• Implements regulatory strategies and solutions to assure all B+L pharmaceutical advertising and promotional mater! ials are in compliance with regulatory requirements and B+L po! licies.
• Monitors FDA activity (e.g., enforcement, guidance, etc.) to analyze and recommend how such would apply to B+L pharmaceutical products.
• Assure timely and accurate review of advertising and promotional material to meet internal timelines and requirements.
• Assists and acts as back-up in preparing OPDP submissions.
• Monitors competitor ads to keep abreast of market promotional and advertising strategies and to forward potentially violative competitor promotional materials to OPDP.

• 9+ years relevant pharmaceutical regulatory experience; ophthalmic experience is a plus
• 5+ years pharmaceutical advertising and promotion review experience
• Bachelor degree in science or health related discipline required
• Advance degree (PhD, MD, MS, PharmD, or equivalent) preferred• Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulatory affairs discipline required, knowledge of OTC drug and dietary supplement regulatory affairs discipline is a plus
• Detail-oriented with the ability to proofread and check documents for accuracy as well as the ability to relate information in review to requirements and to identify inconsistencies
• Strong capability to work with and contribute to a team environment
• Strong business acumen and ability to see the business drivers outside Regulatory Affairs
• Excel! lent communication skills; both oral and written
• Strong interp! ersonal skills with the ability to influence others in a positive and effective manner
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to a continuous learning and process improvement environment
