You will join a brand-new team that is at the center of Zillow’s effort to transform the future of home selling. This team will be responsible for establishing and developing outstanding operations for affiliate compliance, central to our mission to make the process of buying or selling a home a consumer-friendly, innovative experience that can be launched with just the click of a button!About the role
Zillow is looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our team! The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with Legal and Data Analytics teams to deliver compliance requirements in a timely and efficient manner. You will be working closely with Data Analytics teams to identify data types that can be applied to conduct compliance analysis and to perform independent assessments on products, systems, and processes to identify new or undiscovered compliance touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive compliance requirements from Legal and deliver to Data Analytics Teams
- Collaborate with Legal and Data Analytics teams to identify data types that can be applied to conduct compliance analysis and collaborates to develop systems for the collection of relevant data
- Collect and document data relative to compliance such as lead flow, lead recommendations, adoption rates, and attach
- Identify and analyze data trends
- Lead compliance artifacts, including documenting the control framework
- Collaborate with Legal to review marketing collateral
- Test products, systems, and processes after launch to ensure that compliance controls are operating as designed
- Conduct independent assessments of products, systems, and processes to identify new or undiscovered compliance touchpoints
- Share data and tools with Fair Housing and Fair Lending programs for collaborative analysis.
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related analytical field with a minimum of 3 years of experience working in Data Analytics or Compliance.
- Highly analytical and possess excellent attention to detail and project management skills. You should have experience working with large datasets and be proficient in data analysis and visualization tools.
- Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders from Legal to Product Development.
- As a Business Analyst, you should have a good understanding of legal protocols and compliance requirements.
- Identify areas requiring improved controls or practices and work closely with Legal and Compliance to develop and implement appropriate procedures.
- Experience in SmartSheet, Excel, Airtable, and JIRA preferred.
