Credit Services Representative


 
Overview:


HarperCollins Publishers is currently seeking a Credit Services Representative to join their team! The Credit Services Representative is responsible for the timely collection & reconciliation of all open items on accounts within their assigned portfolio.


Responsibilities:
  • Maintains aging of assigned portfolio within department requirements.
  • Coordinates with Customer Service, AR and all cross-function teams to resolve chargebacks, disputes & reconciliations.
  • Identifies problem accounts/situations and recommends a course of action to Management.
  • Adheres to corporate/department policies & procedures & meet/exceed assigned goals.
  • Assists with special projects & miscellaneous duties as required.
  • Maximizes systems & technology to improve efficiencies & delivers results.
Qualifications:
  • Previous credit/collection experience preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Able to perform in a high volume, high pressure, and multi-task environment
  • High level of professionalism
  • Proficient in Word, Excel & basic computer skills
  • Strong oral & written skills

The salary range for this position is $40,000-$42,000. We recognize that attracting the best talent is key to our strategy and success as a company. As a result, we aim for flexibility in structuring competitive compensation offers to ensure we are able to attract the best candidates. The quoted salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process.
