PRH Accounts Payable Clerk
Primary Responsibilities: Process vendor payments and assure they are made within company limits of promptness and accuracy.
Essential Duties:
1. Receive, examine, route for approval, input and pay vendor invoices.
2. Perform other duties assigned by the Accounts Payable Manager.
Other Duties:
1. Assists with other office and administrative duties as needed.
2. Attends meetings and briefings as required.
3. Cross-train as directed to provide back up for other office positions.
Working Conditions:
1. Normal office conditions
2. Occasional off island travel
Work Hours:
1. Must be able to work long and irregular hours.
2. Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week.
Equipment Use:
1. Proficient in the use of a computer and with the resort’s word, spreadsheet, and accounting related software.
2. Ability to use telephone
3. Ability to use various office equipment including but not limited to calculators, photocopiers and facsimile machines.
Mental and Physical Demands:
1. Attention to detail.
2. Ability to prioritize and organize workload to ensure deadlines are met.
3. Able to manage stressful and confrontational situations.
4. Sit at desk to perform most of the essential functions of the position
Communication Demands:
1. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
2. Maintain an open line of communication between employees and management.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
1. High school diploma preferred.
2. Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the duties of the position.
