Description: Southern Ocean County Hospital is at the momment seeking for PER DIEM RN [SAME DAY SURGERY] right now, this position will be placed in New Jersey. Detailed specification about this position opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. The Registered Nurse in Same Day Surgery is responsible for providing direct patient care while demonstrating knowledge and competency in his/her professional practice. S/he assesses, develops, implements and evaluates care of surgical patients on an individual and continual basis.
Requirements:
[Minimum education]
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Nursing or graduate of a diploma program required.
[Desired education]
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. BSN is required within 5 years of hire.
[Minimum work experience]
Minimum of 1 year of medical/surgical experience.
[Desired work experience]
2-3 years of medical/surgical experience is preferred.
[Required licenses/certifications]
Current nursing license. BLS National Certification is preferred.
[Required skills]
