Description:
The EVL tech is responsible for providing technical support in the endovascular lab during vascular interventional procedures and vascular surgery.

Requirements:
[Minimum education]
Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program
[Minimum work experience]
1 year interventional radiology experience preferred.
[Required licenses/certifications]
Xray tech license required
BLS/CPR preferred
[Preferred skills]
Knowledge of Phillips System, Automatic Pressure Injectors
Catheters, Guidewires, Stents,Contrast
Implantable devices
Must have experience with Asepsis and Sterile T! echnique

Knowledge of peripheral procedures: Abdominal Aortography, upper extremity and lower extremity angiography, Angioplasty, Stent Placement, Thrombolytic therapy, vena cava filter placement, Foreign Body removal, Central Venous access/port placement and Dialysis grafts
