Description: Bayshore Community Hospital is in need of PER DIEM RN [SAME DAY SURGERY] 4PD1 right now, this position will be placed in New Jersey. The Registered Nurse in Same Day Surgery is responsible for providing direct patient care while demonstrating knowledge and competency in his/her professional practice. S/he perf! orms clinical assessments of patients and establishes and implements a plan of care and evaluates the outcome of that care.
Requirements:
[Minimum education]
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Associate in Applied Science in Nursing (AAS) required.
[Desired education]
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. BSN is required within 5 years of hire.
[Minimum work experience]
Minimum of 1 year of medical/surgical nursing experience required.
[Desired work experience]
2-3 years medical/surgical experience is preferred. Experience in ambulatory surgery preferred. National Certification preferred.
[Required licenses/certifications]
Current NJ Nursing License
Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
[Required skills]
IV Certification
