Physical Therapist - Acute - (PT - Acute)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 D
Acute Care hospital is l! ooking for a highly motivated and energetic Physical Therapist to join the team in their Inpatient Acute Unit. Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive and professional environment.
Additional Requirements/Information:
Interested candidates must have Inpatient Acute Care experience
Will treat stroke and trauma patients
Nationally recognized hospital
Candidates must be currently licensed or eligible for licensure as a PT and/or registered as a Physical Therapist per state requirements.
A physical therapist (PT) is responsible for diagnosing and treating patients of all ages who suffer from physical conditions that limit the ability to move and/or perform daily functional activities. A PT has a number of job functions, including assessing the patient and creating an individualized treatment plan to work on the areas that could use improvement. In assisting with a patients physical therapy, a PT also incorporates preve! ntative measures against the loss of motor skills and promotes! overall healthier lifestyles. Required Qualifications
- NJ license
- Inpatient Acute experience
