AtlantiCare Surgery Center, LLC (ASC) is devoted exclusively to same-day surgery. ASC serves patients at two convenient locations: Egg Harbor Township (16,000 ca! ses projected in 2013) and Cape May Court House (4,800 cases p! rojected in 2013). With $28 million in net revenue and a 40 percent operating margin, the ASC is a for-profit venture between 38 physicians, who own 59 percent and AtlantiCare Regional Health Services, which owns 41 percent. Accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), ASC provides the following services: pediatric dentistry, gastroenterology, pediatric gastroenterology, general surgery, pediatric general surgery, gynecology, ophthalmology, pediatric ophthalmology, oral/maxillofacial surgery, orthopedic surgery, hand surgery, knee surgery, shoulder surgery, sports medicine, otolaryngology, pain management, plastic and reconstructive surgery, podiatry and urology.
The Executive Director, AtlantiCare Surgery Centers will report to the Senior Vice President and CFO of AtlantiCare. He/She will work closely with the Board to develop and implement short- and long-range strategic plans and objectives, as well as support the operations of the ! Board. The Executive Director will provide operational leadership, fiscal oversight, budget development, policy development and implementation for ASC. He/She will also be accountable for ACS’s regulatory standards and compliance and facility licensing. Furthermore, the Executive Director will present ASC programs and services in a strong, positive image to both the community and shareholders.
