Molecular Biology Scientist (f/m/d) [Germany]

 

We are looking for a Molecular Biology Scientist (f/m/d) for HP Health Solutions in Martinsried.

Responsibilities:

• Optimize, and validate molecular assays for detection of nucleic acids or proteins under guidance

• Receives general instruction to optimize, and validate assays for detection of biomolecules, such as nucleic acids and proteins.

• Begins to compile and present data to project teams in both written and oral formats

• Develops a strong working knowledge of fundamental principles of in vitro diagnostics and molecular biology, including nucleic acid amplification technologies, like PCR, PCA and isothermal methods.

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Molecular Biotechnology or equivalent.

• Typically 2-4 years experience, including graduate or postgraduate research.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Using scientific design and data collection methodologies, tools and analysis packages to collect, validate, and analyze research data.

• Ability to apply analytical and problem solving skills.

• Understanding of experimental design, scientific procedures and processes, and data analysis.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.

• Ability to effectively communicate research plans, proposals,and results, and negotiate options.
