We have an opportunity for a Senior Field Service Manager in our Honeywell Building Technologies team in Bucharest, Romania.

JOB SUMMARY:


Senior Field Service Manager will be responsible for service operations in Central Eastern Europe:


  • HBS Service team in Poland
  • HBS Service team in Hungary
  • HBS Service team in Romania


Together with HBT Direct Sales Manager will be responsible for profitable service growth through
successful growth of service bank and outcome based services. The most important challenge is in
digital transformation. The successful candidate must be a growth driver, experience in leading change
and software solutions sales (Forge, cyber security, occupant experience).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage Service Operations in CEE region: grow service bank and service revenue, build life cycle value
    for our customers, ensure good utilization of service engineers, manage service KPI’s to drive growth in
    Operating Income
  • Operational excellence in service – provide customer value in service and manage
    (and measure) customer satisfaction from services provided. Build long lasting
    relationships with customers and ensure recurring revenue streams
  • Digital transformation - software based solutions: develop, deploy and coordinate the business growth
    strategy for HBS Service CEE Digital Offering (Honeywell Forge for Buildings, Occupant Experience Apps,
    Cybersecurity), achieving and exceeding Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets (Orders, Rev/GM and
    Profit)
  • Energy Performance Contracts (EPC): in collaboration with Install leader develop, deploy and coordinate
    the implementation of EPC in the CEE region. Win long term service contracts for EPC contracts
  • Sell-Deploy-Operate process: in close collaboration with all HBS leaders (especially HBS Sales Manager)
    coordinate the end to end sell-deploy-operate strategy for service, including the digital offering in order
    to maximize the value offered to HBS customers and enable sustainable business growth
  • Drive performance culture to achieve strong Operating Income in HBS Service: good forecasting,
    manage working capital in line with AOP (special focus on DSO), ensure good utilization of engineers,
    achieve strong Operating Income in HBS Service
  • Strategic business relationships: actively seek out, plan, coordinate and leverage internal and external
    relationships to drive business growth for HBS CEE. In collaboration with the regional SBGs and
    corporate leadership teams establish strategic relationships, developing a committed customer base,
    understand customer’s business, strategic drivers and financial requirements. Develop value
    propositions with all levels of the customer organization. Discover at an early stage business
    opportunities for Cloud Based Digital services and Mobile Application solutions, working with the
    existing customer base within the region, also targeting new strategic customers, building on existing
    relationships, developing higher and wider customer engagement. Increase Honeywell’s presence and
    brand awareness in the region by participating in the key industry events.
  • Expand regional coverage: grow HBS Service presence in the region in line with the HBT CEE plan.
    Create service operations in Romania and lead local service team until it grows to a level justifying
    recruitment of a local service leader
  • Team development: grow and lead regional HBS Service team. Develop strong team, ensure strong FSL
    team and succession plan. Build key competences in CEE (especially related to digital transformation).

Qualifications / Experience:


  • experience in managing service operations, Software as Service (SaaS), Digital Workplace, Enterprise
    Cloud or related business to business industry experience in the commercial and institutional buildings
    markets
  • Bachelor’s Degree, MBA degree preferred
  • Consultative selling experience
  • Experience of working in multiple vertical markets and matrix organizations
  • Min. 3 year experience of managing teams

  • Experience in driving results through influencing the cross functional organization
  • Analytical capability, strong sense of urgency, open minded, challenges status quo, identifies
    organizational weaknesses, identifies opportunities and drives action
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels with a geographically diverse
    team
  • Collaborative approach – in interactions with top management and entire team;
  • Strong team leader, capable of driving results, growing and coaching the diverse
    teams

Knowledge:


  • CEE market knowledge (construction, service for industrial sector, SaaS for buildings)
  • Solid understanding of customer financials and the ability to build business case investments.
  • Good knowledge of P&L and service KPI’s
  • Understanding of the IoT revolution, cloud application services, Business Intelligence and Big Data
  • English is a must
