Inventory Analyst [Sweden]


 

What to Expect
The Inventory Analyst will be a key member of the Tesla Northern Distribution organization. This team focuses on the efficient and effective Distribution of Service & Energy parts supply to the service centers, vehicle collision repair partners, and Tesla customers.
The main responsibility is controlling and monitoring the Inventory accuracy and stocking quality within the Sweden Distribution Center operations either in-house or 3PL. The Inventory Analyst will resolve stock and quality discrepancies in a timely manner according to the agreed procedures or as instructed by the manager. Where applicable, responsible for the proper registration of work done at our company system(s) and resolving process issues related to inventory storage, control, quality, claim handling, and returns of (finished) goods and parts. Recommend and develop solutions to improve the inventory and claims flow, accuracy, and quality levels.

What You’ll Do
  • Works closely with the Tesla internal & 3PL functional departments to ensure KPIs on in – and/or outbound, inventory, packaging, reporting, and/or communication are fulfilled. Establish and maintain working relationships with all departments and partners that are part of the Product Distribution process. Be the key contact with the Distribution Planning team, challenging inventory strategy
  • Monitors KPIs and 3PL activities in assigned areas of responsibility. Create, validate, and maintain SOPs & KPIs for continuous optimization of the warehouse operations
  • Identifies and creates opportunities to improve performances standards and reduce cost
  • Support Claim handling process regarding 3PL operations. Works closely with the operation team and will involve in the day-to-day operations. Works together with Return operations on ensuring re-useable parts storage
  • Reconcile inventory variances due to missed transactions, engineering changes, repair order changes, and improper setup of item master data parameters
  • Coordinates where needed cycle counts processes and performance
  • Addresses and ensures immediate action and resolution of discrepancies and performance issues with 3PL on daily operations. Support the Associate Manager in the continuous improvement process. And challenge the 3PL accordingly.
  • This position is continuously evolving, and the responsibilities may change over time - this role requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to the evolving needs of the organization
What You’ll Bring
  • Proven Inventory Control experience in the logistics direction
  • Experience with performance (KPIs) measuring, SOPs, BRD’s and solution processes
  • Experience in continuous improvement
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience with inbound operations, preferably automotive, service parts distribution environment.
  • Self-motivated, Customer focused, and critical thinker, result-oriented, quick learner, as well as a multi-tasker with the ability to work with ambiguity and in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software packages (Word, Excel, Outlook)
